Fantastic for styling without skills

I really like this air styler. I’m not good at styling my hair, so I always wear it either poker straight or chucked up in a ponytail. Somehow I end up burning my neck with curling wands and can never figure out which way to curl it. I’ve always been envious of people who can curl their hair beautifully…but no more! I was a bit worried about my hair becoming tangled but as you’ll see from my video, that was not a problem. If the hair gets tangled then the styler bleeps and stops so you can remove your hair. Finally I managed to curl my hair by myself! It really is foolproof. Switch the styler on, select the heat setting, the length of time for each curl and the direction. Section your hair and sit one section at a time into the styler. The barrel will turn and pull your hair into it (stopping if it feels resistance), then it will keep turning for the specified time before bleeping to let you know it’s done. You’ll be left with the most amazing curls. The first day I tried it, I didn’t use any products and the curls did fall out after an hour or so. Since then, I make sure to use a little hairspray and my curls last much longer. I absolutely love it, total game changer. It’s quiet to run and comes with its very own heat protective mat for safety when using. Very impressed with this and highly recommend if you (like me) are not the best at creating hair styles.

Hair curler

It’s okay. Although it’s a cheaper option on the market I still think it’s quite pricey for what it is. My problems where it’s quite bulky and you need to feed your hair through a small opening for you then to press the button to curl, which is fine until you get to the back of your head. I found my curls didn’t last long at all, I thought it might of just been my hair but when I tried it on my daughter the same happened to her. All in all it’s very easy & straight forward to use. I have medium length hair and managed to get it all curled in under 20 minutes

Didn’t live up to my expectation

I was lucky enough to be given the babyliss style secret air hair curler. The first night I used it I struggled to get it to do much, I thought it was incompatible with shorter hair (I have shoulder length currently) so I put it away, the next night I gave it another chance and with quite a bit of mousse I finally managed to get it to curl my hair, the tightest curl setting didn’t live up to my expectations, I believed the results would be more like ringlet curls but they were not, the picture shown to you is on the tightest curl setting, it’s quite a big piece of kit to hold and manoeuvre but not heavy, this does make it incredibly hard to get to curl your hair round the back of your head! It’s got several heat settings which is great. It beeps when your curl is done which is also great. The plastic cover over the heat plates is wonderful as it stops you inadvertently leaning the device against your head and burning yourself ! It has its own little mat which doubles up as a wrap for it to store when cooled. It has a wonderful long plug cord. It does not grip the hair as I thought it would like other devices do, it has a metal cover over the plates inside the plastic cover that spins round to ‘grab’ your hair, it’s quite a quick movement but it does not ‘grab’ my hair, in fact, I had trouble trying to get it to hold my hair whilst it heated the curl. Maybe it’s something new that I need to get used too? I’m not sure I will get on with this device but will try and will update here if it gets easier to use ! Overall, given the size, the way it ‘grabs’ the hair, and the quality of the curl, I’m going to have to give it lower stars although, as mentioned above, it does have its high points too.

So easy to use!

This style secret air hair curler is really easy to use. The curls are clearly defined and evenly spaced. It's the first hair curler I've used where there's no hair breakages or tangles or where it's really hard work. This was gentle on my hair and took any faff out of curling my hair. It was quick to use and the self timer was really handy. The only downside is instructions provided are relatively clear but I did need to use an online video tutorial to get to grips with the curl angle when wanting the curl to angle away from your face on each side. It is also quite bulky and an awkward shape to handle but the ease at which it curls the hair makes up for any awkwardness. My only other issue was that my hair didn't hold the curls for as long as I'd have liked. That might be my own issue with my hair and perhaps I need to try using on day two hair or with some other product in my hair so a bit of adjustment might be required to get the desired effect.

Really good hair curler, my first try wasn’t a success but I needed to read the instructions properly rather than just expect to know how to do it. After this attempt I found it so easy to use. The curls looked amazing and was so happy.

I can finally curl my hair quickly and effectively

I have always struggled to style my hair, my hair is long and thick & never usually holds a decent curl! Then I tried this styling tool and I was so surprised. It is easy to use, I managed to curl my full head of hair in less than 20 minutes (which is a first for me!) and my hair held a curl all night long! I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone with similar hair to mine! The instructions were simple, the design effective, it also comes with a little heat protection mat to save your surfaces from any damage while using!

Great!

Really love this air curler. It's super fast and once you get to know how to use it - it is super easy. It has different heat options and you can choose which way you want your curls to go. They curl so well and even better when you brush the tight curls out. For me the curls didn't stay in for as long as I'd liked, but I suppose it's my hair type. But what a great air curler. Really good for a cheaper option.

Amazing product for my thick curly hair

Finding a product that's easy to use on my thick, curly hair is pretty much impossible, so i was pleasantly surprised with this! The wand is easy to use and comes with easy to follow instructions. As long as you make sure it's the right way up then it's as simple as feeding the hair through, waiting for the beeps and pulling down to reveal gorgeous curls. The wand has several temperature options and directions of the curves for each side of your head. Or you can choose for the wand to alternate the curls for a different look. There are also 4 different settings depending on if you want a loose wave or tighter curls. Another thing i like is that it comes with a heat mat to place the product on and it also auto shuts down after 20 minutes to prevent over heating etc. Absolutely love this!
