Does everything I want
Tv colour is great. Very clear with great contrast and brightness. Responsiveness is very quick. Sound quality is good enough but think I would like to upgrade to a soundbar in the future but I also don’t think it’s necessary.

First Impressions
For the price this TV looks excellent (I’ve only had it for a day!). The picture looks vibrant and bright and in UHD a lot brighter than our previous TV. HDR colours option while in HD looks good. Lots of options in the menus to configure picture. Not used the apps as yet. Only issues I can see so far are; legs look flimsy and if using a soundbar you don’t get volume numbers on the TV, only up and down. You have to guess! Not a deal breaker tho

Good buy without breaking the bank...
Compared to my old TV, this screen is bright with good contrast between colours and the sound is good as I have it wall mounted. There is a big selection of responsive apps to choose from. Overall a good buy and that's without going nuts and breaking the bank, thinking of buying another for the main living room. Also, be careful as the bolt holes are a normal depth of approx 6mm, so don't use long screws. Remember this if you are going to wall mount it, the TV used the vesa specification of 200 x 400 and this actually means the center of bolt holes on the back are 200mm (20cm) in the horizontal apart and 400mm (40cm) apart in the vertical. This matters for when you are choosing the correct wall bracket a TV's weight is not the primary concern with modern flat screens.

Review after 3 months of use
I’ve had this TV for a few months now. Specifically bought for the 144hz gaming pro mode. For the price, as a budget, cost effective option I have been extremely impressed. The contrast, brightness and colour really stand up in game mode. It’s also great when watching movies and streaming etc. I’ve had this up against my other Samsung TV and to be honest the Samsungs colour and contrast holds a greater depth however the Hisense 50 Inch 50E78QTUK PRO Smart 4KUHD HDR QLED delivers when it’s in game mode. The sound is surprisingly good with the in built speakers and it has various settings to choose from. Late night is a great setting when people are sleeping in other rooms if your still watching TV as it reduces the louds whilst still conveying a solid sound. The Hisense Pro is super responsive. It detects everything via intuitive smart technology and runs all three HDMI ports at 144hz. It also has EARC (which is common for today’s models) however fantastic for me as I was able to link my very old 5.1 Sony surround sound system directly via one HDMI cable (8k) It also allowed me to access the settings in menu on my Sony Surround sound so that I could adjust my individual speaker level and distance. It turned my remote control into a universal volume control so I could directly control the volume level with the same Hisesnse control. The reason this was important to me is because my surround sound menu and control wasn’t even accessible on my old Sony Bravia TV that I had. At the price, this TV is a no brainer especially if you want a high quality gaming set up! Hope this helps someone!

AWSUM tv at a good price!
Can’t fault this tv yet. Really ….. REALLY easy to set up. Basically took about 5 mins from unpack to viewing. Picture is fantastic, even in a very bright front room. Sound is good to.
