About this product
The Habitat Chadwell Ottoman Bed gives you somewhere comfortable to sleep and loads of hidden storage that keeps your bedroom tidy. It's got a padded headboard and linen-style fabric that brings a relaxed, modern feel to the room. The end lift design lets you raise the mattress base to reveal storage space underneath, there's room for 780L of bedding, clothes or anything you need to tuck away. The whole thing's built on sprung wooden slats that support your mattress evenly and let air flow through, keeping your bed fresh.
The upholstered frame's soft against your skin and holds up well to daily use. That padded headboard's there when you want to sit up reading or watching TV. The lift mechanism uses gas support, so you're not wrestling with the bed base when you need to get at your stored things. Stable plastic feet keep everything level and lift the frame just off the floor. It'll support up to 220kg, so it's built for real everyday use. Arrives flat-packed with all the fixings you need, two people recommended for assembly, and there's a two-year guarantee from the manufacturer.

Lovely Small Double Bed
My daughter’s 13th birthday is next month and I’m buying her as a present - upgrading her single bed to a small double bed. After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Chadwell Double End Lift Ottoman Bed - Natural: I would advise against adding wheels.
Adding or changing the bed in any way would mean that the manufacture guarantee would be invalid.

This mattress can hold a weight of up to 220kg, so if you were to use a 65kg mattress, people up to the weight of 155kg (24.4 stone) would be able to use it as well.
