Blends in with decor
It has definitely been a benefit to my security system allowing the WiFi to extend further to enable the cameras to pick up a better signal within the specified RSSI figure

Great product, happy about it.

Almost great
This plug and play chime is easy to connect over wifi to your Ring device. It has a good range of Chime sounds to choose from. The only let down is there is no ability to scale the volume which is somewhat frustrating.

Ring devices only
Bought to improve signal to door bell. Needs a few days for signal to settle once in place. Will only connect to any Ring devices and cannot be used for wifi booster for other non Ring devices. Possibly cheaper than buying independent wifi booster

Little awkward to set up but got there in the end
Worked as an extender. My devices spend much less time offline now. I wouldn’t use the chime function if you’ve got lots of Alexa’s though

Hello Ana.
The Ring Chime Pro is designed to work with the Ring Video Doorbell Pro and Ring Video Doorbell 2. These models are the latest in the Ring doorbell lineup and are compatible with the Ring Chime Pro. The first generation Ring Video Doorbell and Ring Doorbell 2 are not compatible with the Ring Chime Pro.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Alan,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring Chime Pro: ''No unfortunately not, you are unable to wire the Ring Chime Pro to your doorbell, instead it plugs into a standard wall socket.''
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hello Pj,
Ring Chime Pro
If it connects to your home Wi-Fi from inside your shed, it will work.

Hello Loo,
The supplier has advised the following for the Ring Chime Pro:

Hello Smokey,
After checking with the supplier, I can confirm this Ring Chime Pro just plugs into a 3 pin power port and then all you need to is connect to your doorbells.
Thank you for using Q&A

Gen2
Hello Mickey,
I can advise the following for the Ring Chime Pro:
This only extends the Wi-Fi for Ring products and doesn't allow other devices to connect to the extension of the network. You would need something like the below to allow you to extend the network.
https://www.argos.co.uk/search/wifi-extenders...
Thanks for using Q&A.
You can use this device with all Ring doorbells,
It is designed to assist with the wifi connection between your existing Ring devices and your router.
It works as a bridge between them.
THE DOOR BELL IS CONNECTED TO RING PRO I DONT THINK YOU CAN USE AS WIFI EXTENDER
This is a Ring Video door chime
So you won't need an existing door bell in situ but it is designed to act as a bell chime for when someone pressed a Ring video door bell.
This idea also dou les up as a wifi booster so if your other Ring products such as Ring security cameras are struggling for a signal then they can connect and piggy back of this unit.
Hello Bobby78,
I can advise the following for the Ring Chime Pro:
You will need to have a Ring doorbell that is compatible with the Chime/Chime Pro.
Thanks for using Q&A.
you have to have a chime doorbell
