The Nintendo Switch 2 comes with 256 GB of total system storage, but a portion of this is reserved for system use. If you plan to download a lot of games or content, you might need additional storage. In that case, a microSD card would be recommended.
For the Switch 2, look for a microSD card with high-speed performance, such as UHS-I or UHS-II cards, and a capacity that suits your needs—commonly 128 GB, 256 GB, or even 512 GB.

Yes, the original Joy-Cons work wirelessly with the Switch 2 for gameplay. However, they can’t wake the console from sleep mode, and some features may be limited compared to the new Joy-Cons.

Yes you can wirelessly use your JoyCon 1 controllers. But you can not physically connect it to the Switch 2 as the JoyCon 1 controllers do not have magnets.
From experience of having the console, I get 2 and a half hours in Mario Kart world and Cyberpunk, 2 hours 15 in cyberpunk if I have brightness maxed out and volume at 60.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a switch 1 title lasts for four hours and is similar to switch 1 for most games without the update packs.
