Super Asus Pro
My old Asus laptop served me for 14 years, so I chose Asus again. I am a photographer, it is a great helper for editing photos. Great sound, super beautiful image, very easy to use, everything is what I need. I am very satisfied with the new Asus Vivobook pro. The battery could be better, but.. it is a minor problem for me.

First things first - don't let 4 stars mislead you, this is a great laptop. So let's get the stuff for that one missing star in first. Basically, I don't think the battery life is what's cracked up to be. However, early days, and I got 3-4 hours out of it easily - and it seems to be improving, perhaps just running in? The performance so far seems good, rather than mind-blowing but not stuttery or slow in any way, it's just that it doesn't seem to be a speed demon. Bear in mind, early days yet and maybe I've missed some settings so don't want to knock it too much. Another minor gripe, the Enter key is in a single line, not across two rows as they are on a full keyboard. Still, I knew that when I was getting it so not really a minus. Also, it's a touch on the heavy side but don't get me wrong, it's not like you have to go to the gym to lift it. No fingerprint reader but you can use the camera with Windows hello, so this is a minus only if you're a big fan of fingerprint readers. And that is it from the bad news department - and none are killers. Screen is lovely and rich, and can go very bright, you can really see those 600 nits working. Quiet in operation, you can only hear the fans if you start sweating it a bit, but nothing to write home about. And it looks great, in my opinion in an understated kind of way, which is exactly what I was after. Haven't yet tested out the RTX4050 operation but I mainly got it to be able to run additonal hi-res screen, not for gaming, so I don't think there's going to be issues there. In all, at this price, you'll struggle to find better. Given the battery life seems to be improving and I may still discover performance settings to change, the rest of the reasons I've not given it full 5 stars might not be enough for me not to change the rating upwards.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 15.6in U9 16GB 1TB RTX4050 Laptop.
This has 8GB on board and another 8GB in the 1x DDR5 SO-DIMM slot.
The 8 GB in the slot can be replaced with a 16GB card.
