About this product
The Elmdon Comfort Kingsize Divan Bed gives you a solid place to sleep, properly supported and built to last. It pairs a kingsize mattress with a matching divan base, so there's room to stretch out and settle in. The open coil spring system uses 325 individual springs to support your weight evenly across the surface. A medium feel gives you balanced comfort, not too firm and not too soft. The damask cover has a quilted finish that adds a layer of cushioning. You don't need to flip it over, just rotate it regularly to even out wear. The kingsize dimensions fit two people comfortably.
The divan base sits underneath and spreads the load evenly on chrome feet that lift the frame off the floor. It comes in two pieces, which makes getting it through doorways straightforward. The fabric base is durable and keeps the structure stable through nightly use. There's no storage built in, so it keeps the profile simple. The mattress depth is 19cm, and the divan base adds another 38cm of height, bringing the total sleeping height to 57cm. Minimal assembly required, two people recommended. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.
The divan base perfectly complements the mattress, with its smart design, durability and practicality.
Pair with our stylish range of matching headboards, to complete the perfect look - sold separately. Design of mattress fabrics may vary to images shown.

Exactly what I was looking for

Flimsy and made cheaply
Poorly made of the cheapest materials. One of the joints was opened up, had to reinforce with a woodscrew. OK for an occasional guest bed (why we bought it) but wouldn't last long in use every day.

Great size.
The bed is extremely comfortable. The mattress is not to soft. I'm 6ft 3ins tall and it's long enough and very wide for a single bed. Cushions my bad back perfectly. Springs perfect. Looks and feels it will last. Love the bed.

Real value for your money!
This bed and mattress combo is excellent value for money. I have two more drawers now(both great sizes) which are easy to access and the runners are smooth. The mattress is sprung and of medium support which is just right for comfort and I think, durability. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.
