Sure, you can use the MC Series in Dry Mode to help dry clothes. If the unit is set up correctly, there’s no harm in giving it a go. Just keep in mind that it’s primarily an air conditioner and only secondarily a dehumidifier, so it won’t dry laundry as quickly or as effectively as a dedicated dehumidifier.

When using the MC Series on head mode, make sure the drainage hose is attached to the lower drainage port. The exhaust duct should be directed out of a window using the supplied window kit. This duct expels warm air outside while circulating cool air back into the room.
Regarding the duct positioning, so long as there's no major kinks or bends and it goes through the window, as per the instructions, it should work fine. Without being able to inspect the location, we cannot be more exact.

If the model number includes CH, that means it is a Cooling and Heating version, so yes it should provide both functions.

You need to vent the hose outside when using the unit as a heater, just like you do in cooling mode. The hose must go to an outside window or vent.

However, in high humidity conditions or after a long period of use, the water tank will need to be drained using the drainage hose.
