Dark wood blinds
Pleased good quality, simple,stylish. Went for dark wood by default as lighter wood not available. But worked out well as looks great and more expensive. Only problem was pallet at top of blinds wouldn’t stick but fine with out.

Great blind but...
This is the 5th blind I've bought. I've been very happy with the quality and price every time. But... the manufacturer has changed the pelmet. It now doesn't have the edging on the top and bottom and is no longer fixed to the blind with brackets. We were supplied with 2 pieces of velcro to fit a 6 ft window. Predictably the pelmet fell off almost immediately. Reaffixed and it fell off again. Used more of our own velcro and fell off again. All in all fell off half a dozen times before we gave up. Such a shame look of blind ruined for the price of 2 small brackets . Would have been 5 stars otherwise

Adds brightness
I love this blind it makes my kitchen look like the sun is out even when it’s cloudy, the colour is lovely. The only downside is the pole that you twist to open & close is very short.

I bought these to replace older wooden blinds that broke. These are far superior - the whole construction is great quality, with sturdy wooden slats and strong stringing. They look absolutely beautiful and are so easy to use - plus, when closed, they really do keep the light out. We're thrilled with them - really classy blinds.

Little Black Book Basswood Natural Venetian Blind - 120cm 760/2762 The fittings allow you to either hang this from the ceiling of the recess or from either side on the wall. There are 2 little brackets either side (picture 2/4) that screw in and the blind then slots into the brackets.

Yes, it is possible to cut the width using a hacksaw for the metal headrail and a fine tooth saw to cut the slats. It is a lengthy process and not easy to do well so this is not something we would recommend.
