This Hoover HBDS485D1ACE-80 washer dryer has an 8kg wash and 5kg dry capacity with a 1400 spin speed. There are a host of functions to choose from, such as the Hygiene cycle, added steam features as well as 3 rapid washes from as quick as 14 minutes. Add to that the 3 simple dry settings that will leave your clothes wardrobe ready; this washer dryer is perfect for any home.
Use the Active Steam option to reduce the amount of time you spend ironing. By activating this special function, the fibres of your garments will be more relaxed, taking the pain out of ironing.
Use the handy delay start so the laundry will be ready just when you want it. You can programme the start of the washing cycle with a maximum delay of 24 hours. No more worries of unpleasant odours created by wet laundry that has been left inside the machine.
This machine is designed to be built in, so will fit seamlessly into any kitchen setting.

Overall good appliance
Had this machine for nearly one month now and it works really well. Multiple different available features to wash on. Good space that’ll fit multiple clothes to wash. Only little downside is the dryer doesn’t fully dry the load.

A great product, 2 in 1
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest I was a little apprehensive of having a washer/dryer. However I am glad I have had the opportunity to try it out. The machine features a 8kg wash load and a 5kg drying capacity, great for when you need to dry inside, ( a majority of the time in England, you know good old British weather). Great for those who don’t have a lot of space, but need both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Aesthetically the machine looks clean, crisp and modern and will fit in the majority of homes old and new. It has a great choice of wash cycles for all from extra hygiene, eco, cottons and mixed so a programme to suit all. It has a C efficiency rating which is equivalent to the older A rating. It’s a little noisy compared to other machines I have had however not overly noisy. It was easy to install, just had to connect the water inlet hose plug in and make sure the water outlet hose was in the outlet pipe as to avoid flooding my utility room, that was it no need for a plumber to do.. even remove the transportation screws was easy with the right tool. So my my first wash I used the rapid cycle on 30 degrees with a 1000 spin and 44 minutes. You can choose three different times for this wash and you can also change the temperature and spin speed. Well I am pleasantly surprised cleaned the clothes and the spin was great. Clothes almost dry when taken out. So not much tumble drying time. Overall I would rate this 9 out 10 and the reason being the drum capacity is smaller than what I am use to.

It handles our children’s cloth nappies with ease and everything comes out fantastically clean. Such a great range of programmes and a fantastic capacity. Perfect.

It has quite a few different washing programmes to choose from included in these are Shirts / cottons / cottons + prewash / eco 40 - 60 / 20 .C / synthetics / jeans / hygiene / wool / Hand Wash / delicates / mixed & coloured / rapid & perfect cotton . Plus Rinse & Drain & Spin There’s a 14 minute rapid wash which is amazing for freshening up your laundry and then up to 59 minute wash for longer washes I’ve used both and they both wash well ! . The light up display is easy to use to programme Temperature / Cycle & spin speed / There is a key lock indicator light also There’s 3 compartments in the drawer 1 for prewash / 1 for special additives ie softeners & 1 for washing detergent . The drum itself is 9kg and a decent size I managed comfortably to wash a king size duvet with no problems . The noise level is fine apart from when on the 1400 spin it’s a little noisy but does its job effectively so it’s not a problem . The washer overall I’m really happy with washes well on the lowest or highest setting and spins clothes so there easier to dry overall . Highly recommend !!

Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow absolutely love this washing machine fits in my kitchen perfect no noise at all even when spinning I was shocked and the amount of washing I can now do at a time is amazing saves me so much time and the clean clothes come out looking and smelling amazing can’t comment on efficiency yet but I would definitely recommend this machine 10/10 love it.

Good capacity and convenient washing options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice sturdy machine with good capacity. Does the make a lot of noise even at 1400rpm spin, and has some convenient quick programs which not a lot of machines do! We have yet to try them all, I don't expect the drying function to be as efficient as a standalone dryer, but still great to help avoid the musty smell of clothes that take too long to try. The positioning of the magnets didn't work out great for our cabinet door, but we'll be able to live with it I think. Overall better than our previous machine!
