I Love This Bed!
The quality of this bed surpassed my expectations. It arrives carefully packaged, with all of the bolts arranged by size and clearly labelled inside a very user-friendly blister pack. The only tool needed for assembly is one allen key which is supplied. It was very easy to assemble by myself. I started assembling at 10pm and was asleep in the bed by 11pm. It looks great - the fabric on the headboard is very chic. Really elevates the style of my bedroom. Delighted!

Perfect sturdy bed with flat slats.
Perfect sturdy bed with FLAT wooden slats and a space under the bed, rather than a divan base. . Didn’t want a bed with curved slats and it wasn’t easy finding one without! Easy assembly. The slats come rolled and fasten with Velcro to the side posts and then slot in either end to keep them firm. It took a couple of goes at stretching the webbing but once in place the bed is extremely firm and no movement. Feels like a more expensive bed. Nice neutral colour. Added bonus was getting it half price but would have happily paid full price. King size mattress sits on the slats and just inside the frame with ease. Would definitely buy again.

Nice headboard
I bought this for our spare room, ideal for occasional use it does have a weight limit. It comes in one smallish box, as the length of the bed is in half, when it was delivered I was a bit bemused , that was it just in one box lol.

Very good value for money
I’m blown away by the quality of this bed for the price paid. I got this half price but would have paid the full price knowing how good it is. On arrival it came in a relatively small box which made me anxious but it was packaged immaculately and the instructions were very clear. It was up in less than an hour (with a child “helping”). The material on the frame is very soft to touch and not itchy or scratchy. The sturdiness of the frame is holding up very well so far. We have put a large firm mattress on and it’s super comfortable.

You are comparing the dimensions of the mattress with the dimensions of the bed frame. The bed frame is obviously going to be larger than the mattress.

I can advise that the Argos Home Ada Velvet Bed Frame - Natural that you have selected is a Small Double size (120cm width). You may select the double size (135cm width) on the drop down menu and the mattress you have provided will fit that one.

A double mattress is 137x190cm. If the above is a typo then you will be fine to use this frame. If it's closer to 140x190 then it's a European mattress and you would need to either purchase a new mattress for this frame or look for a European double frame.
