Much better than the old Cookworks slow cooker.
I had a very old version of this slow cooker, which was a bit rubbish. More in hope than expectation, I decided to try the updated version and it is a much better cooker. Just right for 1 or 2 portions. Simple to operate, no programme to start the timer but as I have a wall socket timer that isn't a problem.

this is ideal for a single person or for a couple people. easy to use and clean has high medium and keep warm on the front. I have used this very often since having major surgery during my recovery I could throw veg and sauce in and let it cook all day and have a nice healthy meal in the evening.

Had a larger one but gave it to my daughter as this size is better for me. It will cook enough for two or one persons meal for two days. Being smaller cooks faster saving electricity

Super little slow cooker
This slow cooker is perfect for one or two people. I have made a winter fruit compote dessert and added crumble to it, which was delicious. I have also made a few stews abd leftovers can be frozen. Just throw everything in and set it on low or high depending on your preference. Easy to clean and store. Uses minimal electricity. Ir is really useful for these cold, dark winter nights. Something to look forward to after work :)

For the 1.5L Compact Slow Cooker - Black, you can top this up with water. It has a total volume of 1.5 litres. Do not fill liquids to the brim of the bowl; leave a minimum of 1cm between the rim where the lid sits and the top of the liquid. The maximum quantity / volume of food / liquid that should be used in this slow cooker is 1.2 litres.

I have not tried this and am not sure that all slow cookers are the same in respect of making yogurt. However if it is just for warming the milk I don't see why not.

My question was a bit dishonest, but i did want to use it to soak soiled work clothing.
This one is maybe to small for my needs, but for the price I cant go far wrong as long as I dont overfill it .

It would not be recommended to use the Cookworks 1.5L Compact Slow Cooker - Black in this way, as it has not been designed for this. I can only recommend the slow cooker be used exactly as instructed in the manual so as not to invalidate the guarantee, or cause damage to the slow cooker or your items.

No, there is no recipe book supplied with the Cookworks 1.5L Compact Slow Cooker - Black however the instruction booklet does have basic recommendations on cooking methods and certain types of ingredients.
There are, of course, many slow cooker recipe apps available on line with many available free of charge..
