Basic but effective
This is a basic plastic toilet seat but it is easy to install, looks okay and is easy to wipe clean. If you try to sit on it with the lid down the lid will sink down but pop up again as you stand up as its a bit flimsy. I wouldn't recommend doing that too often especially if you're heavy.

I've bought several toilet seats with metal fittings from Argos in the past and they lasted only a few months due to rust and corrosion hence them breaking off from the actual seat. This time I chose a toilet seat with plastic fittings and even though the quality of the seat isn't as good I estimate it'll last much longer than the previous ones.

I bought this as it was the cheapest one, toilet seat had just broken so just needed something quick. The seat itself is ok considering the price, the only problem is that our toilet isn't a close coupled one and the lid of the seat stands up and doesn't lean back against the cistern, I can't see it lasting very long as someone is sure to lean back on it to much and snap it.
