Had mine 9 months and the spring has come out where the head rotates just purchased 2 boxes of replacement towelling cloths for it really disappointed not as good as my last one

We have had 2 of these mops now and have both failed after 15 uses or so. We have a water softener at home so it isn’t to do with hard water build up. Machines just fail to push any steam out. I would avoid purchasing.

Cord length
It’s simple to use and I bought it because I had one previously. Only drawback is that they have shortened the cord length. I have to move it from one plug in place to another in quite big rooms. Apart from that it’s good.

Good, but not as good as the previous version.
Good, but not as good as the previous version. Bought this to replace our old S6001 model. I dislike the tinting of the water chamber, I have to shine a torch on it to check the level as its too dark in natural light. Also the cable is shorter, i understand cost savings and scale, but the new 6m (i think) cable length is too short to do our rooms, i have had to get an extension cable. The old machine had 7m which was sufficient to get round before changing to a different wall socket. I used less water with the old model due to the 'pump' to make steam vs the always on of the new one. It was the moo head retainer that broke on the old machine, otherwise we'd still use that. This is a good steam mop, just the tweaks made dont, personally, improve what was already a good product.

I just put some on the cloth that attaches to it rather than the tank itself.
We do not recommend the use of any disinfectant apart from cold water. If you live in an area with hard water, using distilled water is advisable.

It would depend on the amount of steam you would like to produce but using the Shark Klik n' Flip S6003UK Smartronic Deluxe Steam Mop on the level 3 mode should not effect the longevity of your mop.
