Nice wee headset for the price
So far so good. Nice sound, easy to use, good battery, works while charging too. Great headset for the price!

Nice sounding and clear
Great sound and nice and clear when using the mic. However, the ear muffs are on the small side and just covers the ear. (Unless you have small ears) Annoyingly, the other feedback is correct where the mic turns off if no input is heard, even more annoying is that you have to toggle the mute switch on and off (for the mic) for it to turn back on. So three stars because there is no auto-on when the mic here’s sound again and because the ear muffs are small. Other than that they are good. Very easy to connect though.

Worst mistake making a purchase with argos

Ear cushion
Bought these for my son as they didn't still stock the prefered design and brand. They function technically but just to keep in mind that the cushion sleeve can slide off. This may be just ours we bought but it is annoying and very fiddly to put back on .

No, the microphone will not pick up any audio when detached. The headset does not have any separate, independent built-in microphone of its own. If the microphone is connected, you can choose to turn the audio on or off if you wish to, so there's no need to remove it if you don't need to use it.
