About this product
The Habitat Akio 3 Drawer Chest keeps your bedroom tidy and organised while bringing a warm, natural feel to the space. It's made from solid wood with a walnut finish, so you've got quality materials that stand up to daily use. Three spacious drawers give you room for jumpers, tops, tee shirts, and all your folded clothes. The wooden handles are easy to grip when you're getting ready in the morning or sorting laundry. Metal runners mean the drawers glide smoothly every time you open them, no sticking or awkward pulling required.
The sturdy legs lift the chest off the floor, keeping it stable and making it easier to hoover underneath. Wall fixings are included, and if the chest is over 60cm high it must be securely attached to the wall to prevent overturning, that's really important for safety. Self-assembly required, two people recommended to make it easier. There's a one-year guarantee from the manufacturer, so you're covered if anything goes wrong.

Expensive at the front, shabby at the back
Looks lovely, but instructions were tricky to follow, so ended up taking about five times longer than it should have to assemble - make sure the runners face the right way!. Draws fit plenty in, and feel sturdy, but the back is essentially just a bit of cardboard.

Cheaply made
Looks nice but is made so cheaply!! Quality is absolutely terrible and was a pain to put together. Usually love habitat but this is not worth the money.

Ordered this in December, was meant to arrive January 3rd, came Jan 16th. Not impressed quite honestly. Build quality is fairly average, and one of the drawers sticks. In the future I’ll save a bit more and purchase a better quality product.

Smooth are drawers and overall look is neat and assembly was fine - but the design is not as minimal as expected - wood has a slightly glossy whitish coating. Knobs are rounded. Would have preferred natural pine finish and cylinder knobs.

Missing Parts and Wrong Size Parts
Originally purchased two months ago, delivery was delayed twice. Once it arrived washers were missing, the legs were different sizes so did not fit in the base of the unit and the drawers were scratched. What a waste of money and time waiting.

Draws were surprisingly easy to make up. The actual draws are deceptively bigger and deeper than I expected which was a bonus. They also glide really well!

I bought this a few weeks ago. Easy to build, solid wood... instructions were simple to follow... I bought 2 for my bedroom and they finish off the room nicely. I did however buy brass knobs seperately as the ones that came with it werent that nice
