About this product
The Habitat Akio 3 Drawer Chest gives you practical bedroom storage that helps keep your jumpers, joggers and gym kit organised and easy to find. It's solid pine with a washed finish that brings a natural, calming feel to your bedroom. The three spacious drawers provide plenty of room for folded clothes and accessories. There's a flat top surface where you can arrange plants, jewellery boxes, or your everyday essentials. Wooden handles give you a comfortable grip when opening drawers.
Wall fixings are included because this chest is over 60cm high, that's really important for stability and safety, especially if you've got kids in the house. The metal drawer runners mean you'll get smooth, reliable operation over time. Each drawer provides decent internal depth for bulkier items like knitwear. Self-assembly is needed, and two people are recommended to make things easier. Comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

Smooth are drawers and overall look is neat and assembly was fine - but the design is not as minimal as expected - wood has a slightly glossy whitish coating. Knobs are rounded. Would have preferred natural pine finish and cylinder knobs.

Missing Parts and Wrong Size Parts
Originally purchased two months ago, delivery was delayed twice. Once it arrived washers were missing, the legs were different sizes so did not fit in the base of the unit and the drawers were scratched. What a waste of money and time waiting.

Bought this chest of drawers few weeks ago, good quality product for the price, fairly solid comparing to Ikea like items easy to assemble. I had also bought the bed frame and sides tables from the range. Highly recommend it.

Was so pleased to have solved wood and very easy pictures of which part goes where. I don't Read to good and the way you told 1 2 3 and so on. The end result was we are getting two wardrobes next week because not had new in 30 years and the quality was so good and best we could find. The feet are bolted into the base of the chest. Please note that not adding the feet may impede the full use of the bottom drawer.

The furniture is painted with a white washed finishing, so in order to paint it again, it needs to be sanded first.
Once it is sanded, then yes, customer can apply any finishing they want.

None of the piece is hardwood. The drawer bases and back are MDF, the remainder is pine which is a softwood.
