About this product
The Habitat Akio 3 Drawer Chest sorts your bedroom storage without taking over the room. It's a three-drawer chest that gives you space for jumpers, tops and everyday clothes in a compact footprint. Solid wood keeps it sturdy through years of opening and closing, while the clean black finish works with most bedroom styles. Wooden handles give you a comfortable grip when you're pulling drawers open. The drawers glide smoothly on metal runners, so there's no sticking or awkward tugging when you're in a rush.
The chest stands on sturdy legs that lift it off the floor, so you can hoover underneath without shifting furniture about. It's a sensible height that fits comfortably in most bedrooms without blocking windows or radiators. Wall fixings are included, that's really important for keeping it secure and preventing tipping. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, all the fixings and instructions are provided. There's a one-year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Okay
Smooth are drawers and overall look is neat and assembly was fine - but the design is not as minimal as expected - wood has a slightly glossy whitish coating. Knobs are rounded. Would have preferred natural pine finish and cylinder knobs.

Missing Parts and Wrong Size Parts
Originally purchased two months ago, delivery was delayed twice. Once it arrived washers were missing, the legs were different sizes so did not fit in the base of the unit and the drawers were scratched. What a waste of money and time waiting.

I bought this a few weeks ago. Easy to build, solid wood... instructions were simple to follow... I bought 2 for my bedroom and they finish off the room nicely. I did however buy brass knobs seperately as the ones that came with it werent that nice

Bought this chest of drawers few weeks ago, good quality product for the price, fairly solid comparing to Ikea like items easy to assemble. I had also bought the bed frame and sides tables from the range. Highly recommend it.

It's Real
Was so pleased to have solved wood and very easy pictures of which part goes where. I don't Read to good and the way you told 1 2 3 and so on. The end result was we are getting two wardrobes next week because not had new in 30 years and the quality was so good and best we could find. I'm 84 and my wife's 81 and we bought because it's so good price and easy tofollow

Not hand friendly
Now. I'll admit I'm used to IKEA. But. Holy lack of cams, Batman. The three drawers use 4 dowels and 6 screws each. I have arthritis. I didn't know how it was constructed before ordering. If I had, I wouldn't have bothered. I didn't know anyone was still using self tapping screws in flatpack furniture! This is going to take me days to assemble because of the choice to use screws instead of cams. I haven't even looked at the rest of it yet. It looks like it'll be solid enough and it was a good price but honestly, not worth the amount of pain and effort.

The height without legs is 66cm.
