Having spoken with our supplier, the Linea Stripe Washable Rug can be spot cleaned /hand washed but the matting is too big/heavy to be put in a washing machine.

This rug is aprox 9mm thick, and is thinner than a typical coir mat.
Please note this is a indoor rug. Coir is most suitable in sheltered doorways and porches.
