Customers Say
The LG TV offers excellent picture quality and a variety of smart features, but users report poor sound quality and a complicated remote. The interface can be frustrating, and some find it lacks value for money.

Good But......
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV to replace an old Samsung that was only a full HD and required new backlights. Since it was for bedroom use a high spec was not that critical , but i still wanted a good image and decent sound quality. Afrer a bit of tweaking the image was very good, but the sound was far from acceptable, so a soundbar will be required. I am no fan of LG's magic remotes, i want one with buttons for all the functions, thankfully othere LG remotes that are fully loaded also work and are easy to find. The other dislike was the stand or lack of, all you get are two plastic legs that are not very stable so a propper falt based stand was purchased. Just as well that i bought it at a reduced price, by the time you have bought a new remote, stand and soundbar it makes for poor value for money. Yes the picture is good, but let down by poor sound and that horrid remote. Pay a bit more and buy a better spec.

Poor picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor picture. Tried various settings but can’t find a setting that gives a consistent picture for different genres. Shouldn’t have to alter every time you change channels.

Decent smart TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The magic remote requires some practice, however i like how personalised other options are. Picture and sound quality are decent, wish i got a bigger screeen

Great TV, not so sure about the interface.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent TV, crisp colours and very responsive. My only criticism is that it has yet ANOTHER user interface. LG seem to change this with frustrating regularity so we have to re-learn what is where and how to navigate. Sometimes, change is 't necessary.

Good deal, nice TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was about to buy another low-spec TV elsewhere, but I ended up getting this one for the same price after discounts. So far I’m really happy with the purchase. The display looks great, the digital features work smoothly, and I’m especially liking how easy it is to navigate with the remote

Good Picture, Terrible Sound, Terrible UI and AI
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is great. Unfortunately, the sound is terrible, regardless of the mode you choose. The User Interface (menus and source selection) is abysmal. It is slow and unresponsive. I guess it has a very cheap processor that can't handle the complex streaming apps and switching between sources. The TV also comes loaded with numerous LG specific apps that you will never use, but cant be deleted. The terrestrial TV guide interface is terrible, slow to load, and visually blurry because of a non-optional drop shadow on the text. The AI features are pointless and do not offer the user any benefit. The remote is fiddly and needlessly complicated, yet doesn't even have a button to enable/disable subtitles on TV (you have to delve into the accessibility menus just to turn on subtitles). The remote also doesn't have play/pause buttons for controlling streaming media. Overall, I guess the price reflects what you get. Maybe ok in a small room, if you have plenty of patience.

Nice upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded our old non smart tv from 40 to 55 inch, massive difference in picture quality and sound, not as good as an OLED but for the price it does exactly what we wanted.Very good picture, not quite got used to the AI 2025 interface yet, this tv does so many things.
