Slow smart features & bad audio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was a nightmare to set-up. It kept directing me to use the app, but for most stages it didn't work, and I had to do it manually. Then there were about ten sets of T&Cs and privacy policies to accept! I thought I'd just need to switch it on and connect to WiFi! The audio on the TV is really poor, and the smart TV features are really slow to respond. Really disappointing. Finally, having registered my email with LG, I am bombarded by emails. Some appear to give me links to tips on how to get the most of my tv - but none of them work. It couldn't be much worse.

Easy to use and stunning picture!
I was helping Santa at Christmas choose a TV for my kids room. I decided on this one as the reviews online were generally very good with mentions to the picture quality. I have a smaller LG TV in my bedroom and was quite impressed with the operating system and the picture, although it's a much lower spec TV, so I decided to go down the LG route again. I have a much more expensive Samsung OLED TV in my living room. This LG nano cell TV is stunning in picture quality and almost rivals my Samsung TV that cost nearly five times the amount. It was very easy to set up as long as you don't mind using the LG app. I had seen reviews of people saying they didn't like the LG magic remote. It acts as a mouse pointer or a laser pointer type device. I found it very easy to use, so don't be put off by that if you're not afraid to give it a try. The operating system is very snappy with apps opening almost immediately. I run the TV on Wi-Fi and only use it for streaming apps. The picture quality is absolutely stunning, especially in 4K resolution. It has all the apps you need for streaming like Disney plus Amazon prime, Netflix BBC iPlayer. I managed to snap up this TV for a really good sale price but I would have happily paid a bit more for it. Now I've seen the quality of the product. I would highly recommend this TV if you don't want to spend ridiculous amounts on a flagship TV from one of the top brands. Cons are probably the same as the cons with every other low to mid tier TV, the sound. It is actually quite impressive for a flat screen TV but if you value top tier sound you'll want to get a soundbar. My kids are perfectly happy with the TV speakers and I haven't found myself wanting for more either when I have used it, but I know this frustrates some people, so just wanted to make you aware. So if you want a TV that is easy to set up, easy to use, snappy and with excellent picture quality, I would highly recommend you consider this one As always, the service from Argos was quick and very easy. My local Argos is always great with click and collect and I always use Argos for technology purchases due to competitive prices and great customer service.
