The PlayStation VR2 offers an immersive gaming experience with excellent picture quality and comfort, though some users report issues with controller battery life and wired connectivity. Overall, it's highly recommended for serious gamers.

Strictly VR only.
I'm not particularly happy with the 'cinema screen' mode for playing non-VR (2D) games, as it performs poorly. After extensive troubleshooting, I discovered that the peripheral blurring is intentional. While this issue is limited to the non-VR games I've tried, it is quite disappointing overall. There is also noticeable graininess, although I've found it easier to overlook over time. I haven't experienced any problems with the battery life of the controllers, and since the headset is wired, I initially thought the cable might be an issue, but it turned out not to be the case. Additionally, the design of the headset makes it impractical to play while lying down. Despite the games being limited to HD resolution, this doesn't significantly impact the experience or atmosphere. The earbuds are of the in-ear type and could have been designed to clip onto the ear to prevent them from falling out; they feel somewhat cheap in that regard. Although this review is somewhat negative, I am optimistically looking forward to trying a locomotive VR game. Overall, I believe it's poor value for money. If you can spare the cash, it’s okay, but otherwise, investing in a 4K monitor that meets the full capacity of a PS5 Pro might be a better use of your money.that meets the full capacity of a PS5 Pro might be a better use of your money.

100% recommended
I am a fairly serious gamer so I’m always looking for the latest tech and games especially now I am limited with my mobility from a spinal injury. This headset really is my favourite out of the headsets I have tested. Firstly this is a very comfortable headset and even playing for longer periods of time you don’t get neck fatigue or the strained feeling you get when you ware glasses. The mechanisms for adjusting the headset to the perfect fit are very intuitive and easy to use meaning you can quickly get the hand of taking it on and off quickly if required but the headset does allow for you to move about with the headset on if you move out of the play zone it shows you a image of your surroundings. The picture quality is top notch which is provided by the 2 OLED screens/ lenses. I have taken it for a test drive to explore different uses and from the full on VR experience to using the virtual display to play non VR games or simply watching movies. Even upscale 4k titles are outstanding to watch on this. I have a 11 channel speaker setup in my gaming room and at first I wasn’t sure about the sound as you have the headphones that are apart of the headset. I was thinking after a bit of tinkering I was limited to watching and gaming with the headset simply to the headphones. I did manage to find a way to get around it with changing the setting on the PlayStation from surround or amplifier and change it to TV sound meaning if you have the speaker set up for eARC then the sound comes through your speakers rather than the headset. My only suggestion would be to have a more simple process such as a menu option to choose your sound output. I was setting up my game room that I have wanted for a long time now and have managed to set up a full racing simulator and I must say that using the headset with a sim racing setup is just outstanding. I recommend this 100% and it’s not limited to Playststion as you can use a video capture card but there is pros and cons about using them. I would definitely recommend this to enhance any Sim set up or simply just to use the virtual screen allowing you to play games on a huge screen.

Fantastic VR kit!
I honestly bought this because I really wanted to go all out on Skyrim VR and Fallout 4 VR modding. The only main downside with the PSVR2 is that the controllers have built-in batteries, like all Sony PS controllers. While it's fine for the regular PS controllers, for VR they almost have to be constantly charged, which can hurt immersion when in long VR sessions and one of your controllers dies.

Leveled up gaming
First VR headset brought, using it for vestibular brain training and it has been great, I get very bad vertigo but there are games that I can play, Horizon unfortunately is not one of them yet. Only down side is battery life in the controllers
