As part of Habitat's 60th anniversary we've added this birch wood table in a bright limited-edition red. Boldly iconic. The retro style under curves and vivid colour perfectly match our re-introduced bistro chairs.

Red table of good quality. Price excellent.
Easy to assemble, sturdy and looks very classy for a lower price table. The delivery was on time and the delivery guys were first class.

Beware
I bought this table and was completely excited for it because of the images on the website showing its interesting shape and bright colour, however this table was poorly made and poorly painted. After I had completely assembled still with the top half in the box (so as to protect the table and my carpet from the red dust that rubs off). I then found the corner to be shockingly damaged, exposing the MDF type wood that it seems to be in fact made from...Basically on opening the box I was not impressed by the colour or quality and thought to give it a chance and build it along with the matching chairs but just found it only got worse. I would certainly not recommend this table to anyone. It is a shame because the design and aesthetic look of this table and chair set is great, at least in the website pictures. Sadly in reality the quality in manufacturing it certainly is not. In my opinion it is a waste of time and money. All items were promptly returned along with the chairs.

RETRO Red Habitat Café Style Table
Fan of Habitat furniture and this was delivered super promptly by the Argos delivery men. Table is easy to assemble solo, but make sure all bolts are loose and table fully assembled; 'before' you tighten-up. Solid and quality piece of furniture, which will easy seat 6 and I'll buy the matching chairs when I can afford. I chose this table because I liked the retro red and café style and it dismantles; so could be stored or easily moved.

Lovely looking table. Orangey-red which is very vibrant. When it arrives - beware the red dust from the tabletop, it washes off clothes and hands.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat 60 Larsa 6 Seater Solid Birch Dining Table - Red.
The legs and curvy supports are made of solid birch.

It was delivered by one person. Having said that it is heavy and needed two people to lift it once the legs had been attached. But not over 15 stone heavy, in my opinion.

Thanks for your query about the 60 Larsa 6 Seater Solid Birch Dining Table - Red.
This is designed to be a six seater table. As to whether you could manage eight, it'd depend on a number of factors, e.g. the size of the chairs, the number of adult or child users within the group of eight using it, the comfort of the users (with the possibility of the legs perhaps being a hindrance to the persons at those ends). Also, in terms of arm movements and room for cutlery plus crockery, it may be a tight squeeze.
On balance we'd have to advise against trying to get more than six round it.

If you had a chair at either end and benches along the sides, it could seat eight.
