About this product
This Tractor Ride On lets your little ones take on big construction projects. It has a rotatable, fully working, back digger arm that can hold up to 3kg, and for bigger jobs a front excavator can be lifted and tilted, holding up to a massive 25kg. The seat has 3 different settings for all kids and the child-friendly pedals, dirt and dust-protected integral chain drive and turntable steering make for easy driving. The included rear trailer can be easily attached.

Great Tractor/excavator
Bought this for our Grandson for Christmas so he’s not seen it yet. It’s quite large and once put together it’s fab. I can see for some that it could cause problems putting it together as it takes a good while but for someone that is quite hands on they’ll be fine.

Got this for my sons 3rd birthday who is obbessed with it and hasn’t left it alone would definitely recommend, was a bit hard to put together as I did alone and it does say 2 people assembly but I managed to do it 8 months pregnant too , very strong and not flimsy

Lovely idea but the real practicality when it come to kids it falls apart and breaks easily, I have two boys 3years and 4years . Was near enough destroyed within 30min now just left with the main tractor . the arm and plastic bits are god knows where in the garden now , so don't waste your money !!!! Or the environment as it will be going straight to landfill!!

Great tractor, ridiculous to build
Bought this for our 4 year old grandsons birthday as it looked really good and he was asking for one. Whe we unpacked it we couldn't believe the amount t of parts. There was nothing attached anywhere, I'm surprised they didn't get me to mould the plastic parts. It took absolutely hours after giving up the first day as it was so stressful, so continued the next day. They need to put most of the parts together for you and just put it in a bigger box, if it hadn't been for my husband building it I would have returned it. So unless you're superman don't buy.

The ease of use of the Smoby Tractor and Trailor Ride On would be fairly subjective as it is down to the individual, but this is intended for use by children aged 3-6.
The total weight is 8.4kg, so if this is similar to the go kart you ran into issues with then you may unfortunately have a similar experience.

Its not easy but if you follow the instructions and take your time it can be done

Bought for a third birthday and average build looks about ok for two to three years. Yours would be ok to fit for next year I should think, but maybe the play value lasts longer anyway because youngsters like to share and play in lots of creative ways. Hope that helps !

Bought as third birthday present for small-build boy who absolutely loves It. I’d imagine he would fit it fairly comfortably until say, six. Judging from this your four year old should be ok driving it for at least 12 months or more. In any case kids play in very creative ways and don’t necessarily need to be in the driving seat. They are often just as happy pushing things along, loading up, etc., so there’s plenty of pretending to do being a ‘mechanic’, a ‘builder’s merchant’ or a ‘farmer‘ with this toy. It will still be a good buy, it’s great quality and easy to put together.
