Reintroduced from the Habitat archives, the Hana collection remains remarkable in its contemporary appeal and timeless design. First launched 20 years ago, the Hana tallboy is crafted using solid oak and oak veneer. With dovetail joints and smooth opening actions on all the drawers, it oozes quality and provenance. Balanced, clean, iconic.

Sturdy Solid Wood Drawers
I bought this instead of another chest of drawers from a certain Swedish store, which most definitely were made of chipboard, and I'm so glad that I did. Not only were these drawers less expensive, they're solid wood and look absolutely gorgeous. I really like the asymmetrical drawers. Perfect for when you need lots of drawers but dont have a lot of floor space. I'd buy these again and again if needed.

Big delivery, long build but nice drawers
Lovely solid piece of furniture - huge delivery of 6 boxes and took me 4 hrs to put together and then i did get the frame upside down and meant i couldnt use the drawer stoppers. However the piece looks and feels great and for the money is awesome

Really nice piece of furniture
This isn’t something I’d normally buy from Habitat but I’m glad I did. Looks really nice and great quality. Requires assembly but only for the frame thank goodness. Draws are solid wood. Very stylish.

Lovely Chest of Drawers
It's a great piece of furniture at a good price - instructions could have been better - be careful about the draw sliders - but the drawers are solid oak and preassembled (the frame is veneer). The capacity is really huge - my old chest of drawers were really large but I still had 2 x drawers spare in this unit. As it's tall rather than wide it's made the room look really spacious too.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat 60 Hana 12 Drawer Tallboy: Only the bottom of drawer is MDF, the rest of the parts are solid oak .

No, these do not have any kind of mechanism to allow you to open them. The drawers just rest on the “shelves” of the unit and so you just manually slide them out. You’d just grip the edges of the drawer to pull it open.

The drawers don’t technically have sliders it’s just the sold oak draws fit within the aperture and have a small stopper to stop them coming all the way out.

This has no drawer runners at all. The drawers just sit inside the rectangular shelf sections of the product’s frame, so they rest on and slide on these “shelves”.
