It's not as good as the one it replaced, the slots are smaller so that farmhouse style bread doesn't fit and it does star wars toast light side and a dark side it's going in the skip when the January sales get going

Good solid 4 slice toaster
Good solid toaster and 4 slice is great! If my wife and have toast at the same time it means nice warm toast for us at the same time. The cord could be a little longer but no big deal. Happy with my purchase.

Great toaster
I bought this to replace a previous Russell Hobbs toaster which no longer worked properly. This one is great, just as good as my previous one which had lasted for years. It toasts perfectly on my chosen setting and I’m really pleased with it.

Power cable too short.
The toaster was on sale at half price. When opening the box in Argos it emerged that the cable was positioned near the front of the toaster with a short cable. Like many people I have kitchen units at head level with power sockets underneath and then the work surface. It is not safe to have the toaster switched on directly below the kitchen units above, it could cause a fire. Instead I move the toaster out onto the work surface clear of the cupboards above. The power cable is too short to achieve this especially in view of how big the toaster is. I returned the toaster there and then and got a refund.

Looks good and dies what it should
I bought this a month ago and happy with it so far. Looks smart. Has varying degrees of heat but if you like your toast well done it needs to be on top 2 heat numbers. However there are 7 degrees of heat so something to suit everyone. Good competitive price.

unfortunately it is not fully brushed. I purchased this but could not be bothered taking it back so putting up with it, it is shiny steel on the front and top.
