Made from memory foam, which moulds around your body shape and relieves the pressure on your joints and spine, it offers great support. At 3cm thick, it'll add a cushioning layer to your mattress to help give you a great night's sleep. Kept securely in place by a slip-resistant backing, it comes with a removeable cover that you can pop in the wash when it needs freshening up.

This was bought to make a spare bed feel comfier, and it does the job very nicely. I had to use the bed myself for a few nights, and it was great. No bad smell as other reviews have reported. It's not hugely thick, so making the sheets fit was not a problem.

Essential for a good night's sleep
I am new to single beds, having been widowed recently and re-jigged my sleeping arrangements. My late husband and I had been using double mattress toppers for a while and had found them to be a boon, so I bought this single one for my new bed. Great! It adds a layer of comfort, very welcome to me in my 80s and suffering from polymyalgia and sciatica. And to be honest, it adds peace of mind as well, being easily launderable. So if you haven't yet bought one, my advice is to give it a try.

Does the job
I bought this to use on a fold out single sofa bed that’s very hard. Solved the problem & my niece said it was super comfy. Her short- notice visit didn’t give us more than a day for it to decompress so we left it out for a week afterwards. It was pretty slow and one end is still slightly flatter, but since most of it reached 3 cm, that doesn’t matter too much. Didn’t smell at all (as other reviewers had found). Overall happy with my purchase.

Just enough
Just enough to make a slightly hard sofa bed mattress comfortable without being squishy. I left it out flat for a couple of days to get it looking plumper. No smell as mentioned in other reviews.

Improves and protects a cheap mattress
I bought this to make a new spare bed more comfortable for guests. It has done the job, although I have not tested it personally. Nobody is complaining! It will also protect the mattress better than just a mattress protector.

We haven’t carried out any tests of using the electric blanket on the top of top mattresses.
Wendre provides a BS 7177 tests – in terms of the ‘fire retardant’ properties.
The electric blanket also should have an instruction manual, where it is allowed to be used, what surfaces, or any exceptions. We strongly recommend to read the instruction of use –electric blanket.

The widths given on the webpage depend on which size mattress has been selected. There are three different sizes of mattress which can be selected from the drop down list on the right hand side of the page - single, double and king size. The widths are 90cm, 135cm and 150cm respectively.
Each size has its own catalogue number to avoid confusion when ordering and the product information given changes for each size selected.
