Makes an iPad into a Laptop!

This is an absolutely brilliant product. I enjoy using my iPad since it's so intuitive, however the on screen keyboard is annoying if typing anything over a short email. This keyboard solves the problem, I wasn't actually expecting too much from it, but it's fantastic! It magnetically attaches to the iPad and connects via Bluetooth. The keyboard is charged separately from the ipad which is the only minor annoyance, but it's worth putting up with. The keyboard is small, but perfectly formed. I can type at almost full rate without any hand cramps! The hinge design is beautiful and it causes the iPad to almost float, just like the apple product. When you've finished, it can be closed like a laptop computer which also protects the screen. The keyboard is also backlit, but this can be turned off to make the battery last longer. I have thoroughly enjoyed using this keyboard case. It's perfect for taking on a train when I don't want to lug around my laptop computer.

Great keyboard shame about how it attaches

When I got this keyboard out of the box I was very pleased with how it felt. It’s not flimsy and does feel like it will be hardwearing. As you can see from the photograph, the QR code which links to the manual, is inside the box. I have to say that this is an awful design. It is all but impossible to get a clear image of it with a phone camera as the opening is too narrow and when you do manage to angle it right, the area is too dark and blurry. Instead I searched the internet for the instructions. Pairing the keyboard to my iPad was really easy and there’s no delay between using the keyboard and the reaction of the device. I am really disappointed with the magnet and the angle of the stand means that it does not stay in place. Instead, it slides down onto the keyboard and it can’t be used. I like the performance of the keyboard, just not the design of how it attaches.

Stylish and Effective, But Pricey.

To increase productivity with your iPad, Epico Backlit iPad 10.9" Keyboard Case is the perfect accessory. You can easily place your iPad in the case by lining it up and using the magnets to hold it in place. The iPad can easily be used as a tablet if you want to, by pulling it off the magnets. However, I noticed it won't align with iPads older than four years old because the magnets won't hold them in place and they'll slide off. The build quality is excellent, the buttons are extremely responsive and the device texture is luxurious. The multi coloured backlit keyboard is unique and stand out feature. A few things I did not like about this product was that the manual is only available online. It is very simple and can fit onto half an A4 page, however no manual is included in the box. You must scan a QR code. Furthermore, connecting an iPad to it was not straightforward, and I had to try several times before success. Finally it appears on the box that the hinge can extend backwards 180 degrees, however this is not possible and it only extends to a fixed point, which may not be completely desirable for some people.

Brilliant Item

Very stylish and modern case. Loved the keyboard and the different backlight colours. The case is quite sturdy and found the multi positioning feature very good. Easy to set up , by just scanning the QR code. Have found on a couple of occasions my iPad didn’t feel very secure on the magnet. But all in all a very good stylish item,

Fantastic touchpad and keyboard experience!

The Epico Backlit iPad 10.9” Keyboard Case is a great companion to your iPad to improve productivity. It’s easy to place your iPad in the case, by just lining it up and the magnets hold it in place. If you want to use your iPad as a tablet, you can easily remove it on demand with ease. It requires charging separately to your iPad and includes a usb-c to usb-c cable in the box. It connects using Bluetooth and after switching on the keyboard and pressing Fn + C, it showed up almost instantly in the Bluetooth settings screen and connected easily. The touchpad is fantastic, it’s responsive and you can click anywhere which is a nice touch for usability. I wish it was slightly larger but I think it’s a good considering available space! You can use finger gestures to zoom in etc.. directly on the touchpad and this worked very well. Very impressed with the touchpad. The keyboard experience is also good. I have quite big hands and managed 57 words per minute with minimal errors, going slightly slower to adjust. The key travel and feel is great, as you typing I feel like it provides good feedback which is a massive positive. In fact, the build quality of the keys and the typing experience is my favourite thing about this case. I have given this a 4/5 because it’s good, however, I wish that the hinge that holds the iPad in position went back slightly further to make it more comfortable when standing using the iPad; and that the Epico case text on the base (which is the front when closed) was more discreet. Overall, I think it’s a really great product and would recommend, the way it’s been designed is clever and makes for easy use. The keyboard and touchpad are good to use which are the main points of buying a case like this!

Great product, but…

Straight out of the packaging, this feels like a quality product. It’s light enough to be convenient without feeling flimsy and so far, hasn’t been marked or scratched by the repeated in & out of my work bag and being thrown around quite a bit. The backlight is a brilliant personal touch. The instructions were accessed through a QR code which was far easier than flicking through endless pages to find specific instruction. The only downside is the magnet to hold the iPad in place isn’t as strong as I’d hoped. Perfect for using at home or when stationary, not so great when on the go

Modern, stylish epico backlit ipad keyboard case

Really stylish and modern case which lights up when connected to the ipad, really easy to use and gives an iPad so much more possibilities and options with the keyboard. The case is fairly heavy and has multi positioning feature for your iPad. You can chose from a range of colours for the backlight and it comes with a charging lead.
