Had to return to this item the next day. They are selling this as a 2024 Macbook air, but it is a 2022 model. Returned the next day and bought the M3 2024 for an extra £100. Staff acknowledged the issue.

I bought this a few weeks ago as I was needing a laptop to do some paper work on completing my new job role! I could have easily gone for a cheaper laptop but having all Apple products I felt like it would be an odd thing to do 😂 so glad I went ahead and got the MacBook as everything on my other Apple devices has automatically moved over and made my life a whole lot easier!

Purchased this MacBook Air M2 from local Argos and I’m very pleased with product and Argos price and customer service. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Argos again for such product as cost to Curry’s prior to Argos was let’s say ‘back at school’ approach to customers, over priced and over rated!

Superb Laptop
Decided to change from Microsoft to Apple and although expensive, wow, what a fantastic machine. This MacBook Air is so neat, fast and a brilliant quality display. Works perfectly along side my iPhone and easy to import settings from my previous windows laptop.

Gently bought a MacbookAir 16GB, 256 GB laptop advertised as 2024 model. Have found since it is a 2022 model. Have written to Argos, and spoke to their helpline, but they just told me to contact the store!. Otherwise, the laptop does what it is supposed to.

No but you can purchase the software separately, specifically for the mac os they have offers on this too. Im looking for sane. You can buy MS office for a 1 off price but get security updates only or annual fee for MS office 365. Depends if you would use it all

I can advise that the MacBook Air 2022 does not come with Microsoft Excel and Word pre-installed; it comes with Apple's free suite of apps, including Numbers and Pages. Numbers and Pages can open Excel and Word files.

For those people buying this MacBook Air its not the 2024 model, I bought this when it was advertised as a 2024 model, it was for my sons birthday, he was very disappointed, Argos have literally pulled a fast one, I have got the original screenshot and invoice stating it was a 2024 model, they literally have no respect for the legality of false advertising, as as such I have contacted trading standards to pursue a claim, buy with caution folks.
You can see theyve now fixed the description after I also fell into the trap of buying what I believed was a 2024 version and it turned out to be 2022. Argos didnt care about trade descriptions and totally messed me about. Argos are not a fair company to buy from since the biggest favour they did was accept the return for refund and thats it
