The WX439 WORXSAW XL has a sleek and compact design allowing you to operate with one hand, with complete control. The WX439 WORXSAW XL will cut tiles, stone, brick, wood, metal and plasterboard with ease. Comes with 3 blades - 1 x diamond tipped blade (for tiles, ceramics and brickwork), 1 x TCT wood cutting blade and 1 x HSS general purpose blade (Ideal for plastic and metal). Plunge cuts are ideal for creating vents, putting in electric sockets, light switches and cutting out sections of flooring.
Compact and lightweight design enables accurate, straight cutting in confined areas.

I bought this to help me cut some large thick porcelain floor tiles that were too big for my tile saw to accommodate. The diamond blade worked very well on those, and the cuts were reasonably easy to make cleanly, with the support of a workbench and vices.

There is not a dust collection bag that can be purchased for the WX439.
The tool comes with a vacuum adaptor, but this part cannot be purchased separately. If ever a replacement vacuum adaptor is needed, customers can contact the Worx after sales support line as they are able to provide spare parts for this model.

The supplier has advised the following for the WORX WX439 XL Hand Saw - 500W:
"Yes, the carbon brushes can be replaced, the tool needs to be taken apart to do this, but it is possible. Compatible brushes can be found online."
To do so would be at your own risk of course. We'd have to add that to take the item apart would invalidate the Argos 12 month guarantee. Were you to purchase one and it was to develop a fault that related to the brushes, please check out this link here for Worx product support:
