Nice toy for 5-6y old
It's a well made toy, but a 5y old may struggle to zoom in and out. It has weak lenses and so bird watching in my garden from the living room was tricky. Otherwise, nice toy to play now and then.

I have checked on this and the telescope is 15x magnification, which will allow a better and slightly closer view of the moon and stars however to see them properly it is advised that a telescope with a minimum of 50x magnification is required.
