Electric log burner
This is such a great electric stove. Looks like a real log burner and very welcoming. I would give this product 10 out of 10 and glad we went for the more expensive model - it is worth it.

Realistic flames and toasty.
Really happy, looks the job and the flames look really realistic and bring a cosy atmosphere. Good heat output and quieter than my other electric fireplace. Has a flame only setting which is nice once the room is heated. Light enough to move around aswell. Would need to place it something if you have deep pile carpets or shaggy rugs as it's not advised. I have placed mine on a garden slate which adds to the realistic stove effect and protects the carpet as the heat vent is low down on the stove.

A Lovely Glow
We have a false fireplace which forms the focal point of our room but it was never possible to have a flue for a log burner or gas logs so it was a bit of a nothing - we had a fire basket with some logs in it and fairy lights to bring a bit of twinkle BUT this stove has transformed matters - a lovely warm glow, pretty realistic and we bought a pipe to place on top for added authenticity. We dont use the heater, just the ‘flames’ which are silent and flicker beautifully. Magical on a dark winters evening.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Dimplex Casper 2kW Electric Freestanding Stove - Black:
For safety reasons, it is advised to NOT use an extension lead, as this can cause the fire to malfunction or, if an improper extension lead is used, the extension lead to overheat. It is advised to directly plug in the fire into the main wall socket.

Hi, please be aware modifying the fire in any way will affect the warranty. Therefore it's not recommended to extend the cable of the fire.
The clearance between the floor and the bottom of the heater on a Dimplex Casper CAS20E is 64mm,
