Great dishwasher
Does just what the description says: washes dishes well. It’s quiet and has a variety of effective settings for different needs. We often use the eco setting over night, but have also tired the other settings. Top drawer is not symmetrical however so it does make filling that part fun when it is full.

Great dishwasher at affordable price
We’ve had the dishwasher installed 2 weeks ago. It washes well, I’m happy with the programmes it has. There is a fast wash, eco wash and a half wash. It’s not as quiet as I was expecting but it doesn’t bother us. The noise that indicates the cycle is finished is very loud so takes a bit getting used to. One negative was that after purchasing the dishwasher with installation, hotpoint engineer that came out l, couldn’t put it in as access to the mains was behind a neighbouring washing machine. They can’t touch any other appliance, only the one they brought in. It took about 3-4 working days for Argos to refund me the installation money.

Bought this a few weeks ago, installed on time, old dishwasher taken for recycling. New Hotpoint dishwasher superior wash & dry compared old dishwasher. Very happy with service from Argos

You get what you pay for
This was fitted just a week ago. Good value price. Much smaller capacity and not the best layout inside. My dinner plates don't fit and can't see how 14 place settings would fit. Cleaning was good and very quiet.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Hotpoint H2I HD526 UK Full Size Integrated Dishwasher
The appliance does have an audible alarm at the end of the cycle.

1. Upper rack
2. Foldable aps
3. Upper rack height adjuster
Page 5 explains how you can adjust the height of the upper rack.

Re Hotpoint H2I HD526 UK Full Size Integrated Dishwasher.
No remedial work is done by installers (this would include new/changes to plumbing/wiring etc.)
The installer will advise you if there are reasons for the installation not going ahead. If any remedial work is needed it will be down to yourself to arrange for this to be done by a qualified tradesperson, once completed the installation can be rebooked in.
The installer will fail the delivery off, take the item back and then you will need to contact us to arrange the new installation date once the works have been completed.
You will be sent a survey to help make the installation run smoothly along with some information videos.

After checking the manual here is how to adjust the salt level.
Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Switch off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Hold down button P for 5 seconds, until you hear a beep.
Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button.
The current selection level number and the salt indicator light both flash.
Press button P to select the desired hardness level (see below)
Soft: 0-7
Medium: 8-14
Average: 15-20
Hard: 21-42
Very Hard: 43-62

I can confirm the Hotpoint H2I HD526 UK Full Size Integrated Dishwasher has a self clean function. For this to work, you will need to select program number 9.
