About this product
The Argos Home Aubrey Kingsize Bed Frame gives you a sturdy place to rest that fits comfortably into traditional or modern bedrooms. It's made from solid pine with a warm oak stain, so you get the natural strength of real wood along with the character of visible grain and knots. The tall headboard creates a focal point without overwhelming the room, while wooden slats underneath provide firm support for your mattress. It's a kingsize frame, so there's plenty of room to stretch out. The simple shaker-style design works with different bedroom looks, whether you prefer classic or contemporary.
The solid pine frame stands up to nightly use, and the wooden slats distribute weight evenly across the mattress. There's 24cm of space underneath, so you can store boxes or bags out of sight, or hoover without shifting furniture. The frame sits on sturdy legs that keep everything stable and level. Simple assembly required, two people recommended for easier handling of the larger pieces. All fixings and instructions provided. Best bed we've had
Absolutely love this bed. we went for the white one, no manufacturers faults, no paint chips, just a lovely bed. Took my husband approx. 3hrs to put together , I didn't hear any swearing and he was happy with it when finished! Extremely good quality and value for money, using the money off code clearance. Very sturdy and looks great, fitting in nicely. Ergonomic for 2 people of above average height.

Sturdy great looking bed
The reason I did not give 5 stars is that the colour was stated as oak and cream. The ‘oak’ bits are definitely not , they are most definitely looking like pine. There were also 3 screws missing and some instructions were difficult to follow as the diagrams were misleading. However the bed is very sturdy and well made, also looks classy.

Nice bed but too much hassle
Quite disappointed in quality check as it came with cracks on one of them main bits with supports whole weight and then for them to collect it you have to wait least 2 days

Nice bed but disappointed
Lovely bed, however it came and had scratches and splits in the wood. Also a bolt was supposed to go in the headboard, however there was no hole to put the bolt in. Also the sides of the bed couldn’t be fastened properly as two of the bolts wouldn’t go into the half moon nuts - I did contact Argos and they have sent me another two bolts and nuts so hopefully these will work. Was disappointed with all this happening but the bed colour does look nice

Bought this for my grandsons 21st birthday. Took a while to put together, instructions not great. He loves it, sturdy and a good colour, and alongside a memory foam mattress, he is well pleased

Second time purchased this item - never again.
The finish of the bed frame is terrible. Every component was chipped, scratched or otherwise damaged. The slats are covered in knot holes which have been filled over with wood or car body filler. This is the second 'Aubrey' bed frame we have purchased from Argos - we bought this one because we were so satisfied with the first. We won't be buying a third.
