Exceeded expectations
I’d been using my old curling wand for years without any issues, but the last time I used it, I noticed my hair felt damaged and was falling out more than usual. That was my cue to start looking for a replacement. Having dealt with severe hair breakage about two years ago and noticing mild signs of it again recently I was understandably anxious about choosing a new tool. I’m very cautious now when it comes to heat styling. After reading countless reviews, this product stood out with mostly positive feedback and a very reasonable price, so I decided to give it a try. I’m happy to say it exceeded my expectations. Even on the lowest heat setting, it created the soft waves I wanted, and now I confidently use the highest setting without worrying about damage. It heats up quickly and curls each section in seconds, which minimizes heat exposure which is great for protecting my hair. I’m not particularly skilled at styling, but I found this wand easy to use and lightweight to hold. It gives me lovely loose waves, especially when brushed out, and styling my entire head takes very little time, perfect for when I’m in a rush. The results are better than what I used to get with my old tongs, and it feels much safer for my hair. Some reviews mentioned the glove being poor quality, and I agree, it feels quite thin, so I’ve been using my old gloves instead. However, the heat mat is useful for cooling and storing the wand after use. Others noted the cord was short, but I haven’t found that to be an issue. In my experience, it heats up quickly and performs well. My hair is medium thickness and reaches the middle of my upper back. If you're looking for a budget-friendly tool that delivers quick, loose waves with minimal fuss, I’d definitely recommend this one.

It’s ok
I bought this a few months ago and have only used it a handful of times. I find the curls don’t stay in very long, (although I don’t use hair spray) and find they’re not as curly as I could of liked, not a bad curler for the price - just think there is better.

This offers 28mm curls, however depending on hair type and thickness this may change once the curls are removed from the wand.
