The seat can be rear or forward facing as your child grows. The multi-recline feature has 4 positions ideal for naps or when they want to see outside. Non ISO fix car seat
I bought this a month ago to use in my van. Great seat apart from the fact the soft cover on the strap coming up between the child's legs comes off every time I lift the child out. It should be secured some way. The instructions for changing the should strap height are terrible too by the way.

Apologies, based on the weight that you've suggested, this wouldn't be suitable as it only goes up to 18Kgs, you may need to look at group two, but this will depend on the Childs height.
