Knives have a nice feel about them and are well balanced. The smallest knife is a bit too small for my linking but that is personal preference. The housing and sharpener feels flimsy especially the sharpener and mechanism. Time will tell. For the money I expected it to be a little more robust.

Yes there’s a small hatch opening at the back for the dust /shavings from sharpener easy to use but would recommend removing the knives before tipping up to empty
There’s a compartment which you can open to change the stone after 2 years at the bottom of the sharpener so expect the dust will come out when this is done. As haven’t needed to sharpen the knives as they are so good. Just use for veg and fruit.
