Child car seat
This child seat is very well made, and very comfortable for my grandson, lovely material and easy to wipe after spills very easy to fit, and can be used for older children as just a booster seat, very happy with the seat, and also a very good price, all in all a very happy customer.

Wish I'd chosen a different one.
After a great deal of comparison I opted for this and wish I could send it back. Initially it feels very soft and comfortable but after less than an hour of sitting in this seat my little boy was complaining of having a sore bum. The "padding" squashes right down and makes the base of the seat very hard and uncomfortable. The seat also didn't feel secure in place like his old one. For short journeys around town it might be fine but for us it was absolutely no good at all sadly.

Not ideal for a 3 seater van
I bought this for my van and its a great comfortable seat but it doesnt fit quite right in a van. There is to much play when belted in. I've tested it I the car and fits perfectly but not in a van. So if youe purchasing it for a car then would only recommend it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Joie Elevate R129 Toddler to Booster Car Seat - Thunder: ''The Elevate R129 is tested to ECE R129/03 safety standard, therefore the usage of the seat is based on height as apposed to weight. You are however able to use the harness mode from 76 – 105 cm/(15 months to approx. 3.5 years).''
