From car seat to booster, all in one. This Joie Elevate R129 adapts from toddler to tween. It starts with a 5-point harness for little ones. It converts to a belted booster when they're ready for the next stage. The adjustable head support repositions easily, giving you longer use. Forward facing, seatbelt installation keeps fitting simple.
One-pull harness adjustment makes tightening quick between trips. Built-in side impact protection is there when it counts. The head support moves to fit comfortably at different stages. It's suitable from around 15 months to 12 years. Supervision required at all times.

It is easy to install ,and the cushioning if very good and comfortable and breathable mash.as for the headrest it it really good for a 4 year old and its wide as well.it has 5 point harness style which makes it easy to put on and remove with one hand without any struggle.Very suitable for washing machine

I am very pleased with this car seat. It is solidly built, comfortable for the child, and very easy to install. Exactly as pictured
Exactly as expected. Older child is too tall for the harness so we tried to remove them, this took half and hour. This shows how safe the harness is for the younger children. Headrest is adjustable, my children sit in between a setting so I’ve had to set it a little higher than where it is recommended as the lower setting is too low. There is minimal cushioning but is enough to cover the seat effectively. It’s easy to install in the car and is easy to remove and replace the covers if they get dirty.

Harness not safe
I bought this last week for my 2 year old grandson and was very pleased with it, until my grandson climbed out ,he unclips the harness easily ,wich he shouldn't be able to do ,can not take him out unless someone sits in the back to make sure he dosnt undo clasp

The Joie Elevate R129 Toddler to Booster Car Seat - Thunder can be used in forward facing harness mode: 76 – 105 cm (15 months to approx 3.5 years) and then as a belted booster: 100 – 150 cm (3.5 to approx 12 years).
When transitioning from one to the other, the 5 point harness can be removed and just use the 3 point seatbelt to fix safely.
