Installation is simple with colour-coded paths and secure locking. Side impact protection helps absorb collision force. Body support cushions keep younger children comfortable. Flexible fitting options
A good child seat that is very flexible regarding fitting into the car, but the instructions could be clearer about how the seatbelt should be used to secure the seat, even with the downloaded instructions it wasn't very clear.

The supplier has advised:
The Joie Elevate R129 Toddler to Booster Car Seat - Thunder can be used in forward facing harness mode: 76 – 105 cm (15 months to approx 3.5 years) and then as a belted booster: 100 – 150 cm (3.5 to approx 12 years).
When transitioning from one to the other, the 5 point harness can be removed and just use the 3 point seatbelt to fix safely.
