Great seat worth the money
Really lovely well made seat. Comfortable niece 2.5 years loves it and mentions it every time she gets in that she loves it. Buckle is sturdy and hard for child to open themselves as she could unbuckle old seat herself would buy again very happy. Easy to assemble and put inside car correctly very happy

Bought these to replace both of my children's after a car accident. It suits both children one still requiring the 3 point harness the other using the seat belt. The seat is a great fit for both children who are different size. Eldest (5) says it is comfy and he is big for Age. It was easy to remove the straps to convert it to just using the seat belt.

The supplier has advised:
The Joie Elevate R129 Toddler to Booster Car Seat - Thunder can be used in forward facing harness mode: 76 – 105 cm (15 months to approx 3.5 years) and then as a belted booster: 100 – 150 cm (3.5 to approx 12 years).
When transitioning from one to the other, the 5 point harness can be removed and just use the 3 point seatbelt to fix safely.
