Great Record Player
This is a good choice for a record player. The Bluetooth out feature is great since I can connect to my soundbar. The audio is very crisp.

I am blown away
I bought this just yesterday, having been agonising for the last 6 months which one to decide on as my first turntable ever. My goal was to get something that will not break the bank, and yet with good quality. It was very easy to put together, having found all the parts slightly hidden withing the styro. The first vinyl I played was Luna by Anna Lapwood, and I could not believe how wonderful it sounded over Bluetooth on my Razer Leviathan 1st edition. I then tried some Stravinsky and Rimsky-Korsakov picked up from my local charity shops, and - again - absolutely fantastic experience. Today, I went through the entirety of HMS Pinafore, some jazz, and Sabbath Black Sabbath - everything sounds amazing. Overall, I could not recomment this device more.

Sounds amazing!
The sound quality from this is top notch, a warm sound completely diff.to streaming and cd's. Did some research before purchasing - this kept coming out on top.

Great unit
Great unit for the right price. I had to try several times to get it to connect by Bluetooth to my Sony sound bar but worth persisting.

Hi,
thank you for your question.
No, the PS-LX310BT doesn't have built-in speakers. To listen to audio on vinyl records, you can either use an audio cable to connect to an audio device or use the Bluetooth function to connect to a Bluetooth audio device, such as wireless speakers or wireless headphones.
Additionally, you can learn more about how to connect the turntable using wired connection on page 12 here: https://cutt.ly/htiMyG2v...
And to connect the turntable using Bluetooth connectivity, you can follow the steps on page 13 at the link above.
Furthermore, you can check the full specifications of the turntable at this link: https://cutt.ly/DtiMiQoE...

Hi,
thank you for your question.
Yes, although you can enjoy clear and natural sound with the PS-LX310BT record player, new vinyl records may produce a crackling noise when you play them. This is a characteristic of playing vinyl records and not a malfunction.
Additionally, it's worth mentioning that the Sony PS‑LX310BT uses a stable belt‑drive system, aluminium platter, and quality cartridge to minimise vibration and electrical noise. Any crackling you hear usually comes from dust or static on the records, not the turntable itself.

Hi,
thank you for your question.
Yes, you can connect the PS-LX310BT to your speaker, following the steps on page 12 here: https://cutt.ly/ittBAIgl...
However, if your speaker supports the A2DP 1.3 Bluetooth profile, you can connect the two devices together using Bluetooth connectivity following the steps on pages 13 & 14 at the above link.
Regarding your second question, yes, when you press the "Start" button, playback begins and the tone arm automatically descends to its position, which was set using the SIZE rotary switch knob at the beginning of the vinyl record. Additionally, when playback is finished, the tone arm returns to the tone arm rest automatically, then the platter stops rotating.
