Aura free view box rip off
I brought my aura a couple of weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble since...it constantly freezes on all channels as well as disappearing completely,I've also had the audio drop out and I've had the picture dissappear but the audio stays on...it jumps back to the beginning when watching a recording,iwould advise people not to buy this product...I even got in touch with customer support and they were no help...

An upgrade?
Bought it to upgrade an old Humax. Some better features but still some irritating flaws. Still defaults to the most recent recording in a series instead of the oldest which is what you would normally watch first. Still takes several clicks to move forward 24 hours in the guide instead of one, which did used to be the case in the very first Humax I had.

Good value
I bought this to replace my old humax. Good quality and easy to set up. I needed to buy a separate hdmi because the one provided was too short to reach my tv which is on the wall, so no fault of the manufacturer. Good picture, good sound and recordings haven’t failed.

Perfect Freeview box
The box is neat and easy to operate. Has a big storage capacity. All the freeview channels and apps options means we will never run out of things to watch.

Great recorder with great features
I bought this to replace a Humax FVP-5000T which I had had for 12 years and was starting to wear out. I’m glad I did! Great recorder with a lot of apps that can also be downloaded onto the box. Only drawback is it doesn’t have Netflix but I have a firestick so not a huge problem.

Box was incredibly slow
My box was so slow at loading up from standby, taking well over a minute, I reset the box twice, but it did not improve. I have now returned and bought a Manhattan system, which is a lot quicker.

“ The multiplex should not matter. The Humax Aura can record up to 4 different programs while watching a 5th on any multiplex. ”
