The straighteners get very hot at the end which you need to hold as if you dont your hair slides out, if you hold them as normal they dont grip the hair enough.

Bought as I really wanted a smaller one than the one I own. Only used it a couple of times but it worked really well. Heated up quickly and ran smoothly through my hair. My only niggle is it always lies sideways so I have to make sure I have a heatproof mat underneath. Also the on/off switch is very difficult to see
