Eats batteries
I am replacing batteries every 2 weeks which seems rather to frequent. Bell has also stopped working so now use alexa as notification someone is at the door. Connects well to phone.

Decent enough but lacks night vision .
In daytime it's decent, really sensitive to even the slightest bit of movement outside BUT at night it's absolutely pants. Can't see further then 10 inches in front of it's lens. Id definitely recommend some security lights to go with this product

Easy to install but no adde Chime makes it useless
I would say a good buy for the price 29.99 but never understood without Chime it is useless, there are work around but need to spend more would have been better if the maker provided a Chime with the product other alternatives are expensive and have compatibility issues.

Pressing and holding the microphone button in the app to speak
Releasing the button to hear the visitor's response
Both the caller (visitor) and answerer (homeowner) can communicate through the doorbell's built-in speaker and microphone. The homeowner speaks through their phone's microphone, and their voice comes through the doorbell's speaker. The visitor speaks into the doorbell's microphone, and their voice comes through the homeowner's phone speaker.
