Quiet and fast
Knocked one star off because even if I set it to 70° it will typically go a few degrees over. Otherwise, great product. It plays a little tune when it’s done too which I do enjoy, nice touch for a kettle.

Great concept, terrible quality
I bought this kettle at the start of 2024, and the touchscreen has already deteriorated. The kettle also regularly fails to boil, and requires constant micromanagement. I love the idea, but the build quality is completely unacceptable, particularly given the price.

Probably the best kettle ever!
Absolutely love this kettle. Easy to see how much water is in it and very versatile range of temperatures, everything from boiling to "just right for a hot water bottle". I didn't think I would use the infuser but I have and reckon it's a great addition. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this kettle.

Fantastic kettle
After using this kettle at my son's house I decided to buy one for our home. Can heat to a desired selectable temperature which helps to save energy and takes out the guess work to get your ideal heat.

Super kettle
Have used the kettle several times a day for a few weeks and I'm very impressed. Love the temperature setting feature. It removes the guess work as well as being energy saving. Haven't used the keep warm feature yet. Neither have I used the tea infuser as I don't need it, but would be OK if just using the kettle to make tea.

Attentiv Kettle
A stylish and practical kettle which also brews loose leaf teas. Only disappointment is the plastic hinged lid. Would be much improved if this was a stainless steel item. It functions O.K. but looks and feels cheap, which rather lets the product down. Notification/Alarm volume for completion of heating choices could do with being somewhat louder for use in a noisy kitchen. Lets hope it has longevity like my previous Breville model which has lasted 10 years with everyday use, but now no longer manufactured.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Russell Hobbs Attentiv Clear Kettle 26200: Any type of drinkable water can be used with the kettle, do note that depending on the water it may need cleaning more often, such as soft water versus hard water, which can be found in the instructions manual.

"Please be advised that the base that covers the heating element is metal.
Also, we do not recommend brewing tea in it without the basket."
