best way pump
Not something I'd recommend as it's noisy and very slow to inflate the pool compared to my rechargeable pump that cost about £5 more than this one. It's currently in the cupboard and will most likely stay there until someone needs to borrow it.

Works fine but!
The cable is too short. Air bed was pressing up against car door when inflating, I actually got a puncture that I had to repair. So I will have to lengthen the cable myself! You may have noticed that cables are too short on many electrical products

Jade, you just need an AC adaptor with a car cigar lighter socket on it. Just search 12V AC adaptor with car socket, theres loads online. Make sure it provides enough amps, or watts, to run the pump, it ought to say somewhere on the pump or the packaging how many amps or watts it needs to run.
Since these are used a lot in camping, powered by car is more common than powered by mains. Argos do have a mains inflator thought, number 199-9316 for 23 quid.
No you cant, I bought one after reading the information on this question that if you have an AC adapter you can plug it into a home socket. But there is no port to do this as the wire is moulded.
Now I will need to return it.

However, if you have a 12V DC to 220V AC adapter, you can use it to plug the pump into a home socket. Just make sure the adapter is compatible with the pump’s power requirements to avoid any damage.
