Each audiobook is a solid block, shaped and printed like a little book. A child simply places the block onto the front of the player to start listening. There is no wi-fi to connect, no account to create, and no screen, microphone, camera or adverts — just the stories themselves. From age three onwards, a child can choose what to listen to and work the player independently, without needing an adult to help. The built-in battery is long lasting and recharges over the supplied USB-C cable, so there are no batteries to buy. The pack contains The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and The Smartest Giant in Town. More audiobooks are sold separately and work with the same player, so a collection can grow as a child gets older and their listening tastes develop.
