About this product

Electric Start Convenience on a Powerful 20" Mower
Pull-starting a mower isn’t hard, but it’s not always welcome either. Sore shoulders, cold mornings, or just not wanting the hassle. The Hyundai HYM20200SPEX adds electric start to the capable 20" / 51cm platform. Press a button, the engine fires, and you’re mowing. If the battery runs flat, the recoil backup is still there and the battery can be recharged with the charger supplied.

This is the same 196cc / 5.5hp engine and self-propelled drive as the HYM20200SPX, with the added convenience of push-button starting. For gardeners who value ease of use alongside cutting performance, this model delivers both.

Who Is This For?
Ideal for:
Owners of medium to large gardens (approximately 750m² to 1,500m²)
Those who prefer electric start over pull-starting
Gardeners wanting power and convenience in one machine
Users with shoulder issues or who find recoil starting uncomfortable

Not ideal for:
Small lawns where a smaller mower would be easier to store and use
Those content with recoil start only (the HYM20200SPX is lighter and less expensive)
Very large lawns over 1,500m² (consider the 22" HYM22200SPEX)

User Manual

Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. For safe operation, always wear full PPE—including safety goggles, hearing protection, non-slip heavy-duty footwear, and long trousers while avoiding loose clothing, jewelry, or long untied hair. Never operate indoors or in poorly ventilated areas due to the risk of deadly carbon monoxide poisoning, and keep children, pets, and bystanders at least 15 meters away from the work area. Clear the lawn of all stones, wires, and debris before starting, and avoid operating on slopes steeper than 15% (mowing across slopes, never up and down). Hold the handle firmly with both hands, walk at a steady pace, and always stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug cap before clearing blockages, adjusting cutting height, emptying the grass collector, refueling, transporting, or leaving the mower unattended. Handle petrol with extreme care outdoors in well-ventilated areas, away from ignition sources, and never add fuel or remove the fuel cap while the engine is running or hot. Finally, clean the deck only with a hose at normal pressure or damp cloth after disconnecting the spark plug, never tilt or fully invert the mower when filled with oil and fuel, and ensure blade sharpening, balancing, or replacement is done by qualified specialists.
