The Hyundai HYM20200SPEZX combines the practical 20" / 51cm cutting width with electric start convenience and the 196cc engine that powers the larger models in the selection. It's a capable all-rounder for medium to large gardens where you want power, coverage, and easy starting in one machine.
Press the button, the engine fires. Engage the self-propelled drive, and the mower moves forward under its own power. You guide the direction while the 5.5hp engine handles both the blade and the wheels. No cables, no batteries running flat mid-mow, no pulling a cord every time.
Key Benefits
Start Without the Effort
Electric start eliminates pull-starting from your routine. A rechargeable battery and onboard starter motor turn the engine over at the press of a button. The recoil backup is there if you need it.
Power for Challenging Conditions
The 196cc engine delivers 5.5hp / 4.1kW. That's the same power plant found in the 22" model, giving you headroom to handle thick grass, longer growth periods, or denser lawn varieties.
Self-Propelled Drive
Rear-wheel drive moves the mower forward when engaged. On larger lawns or gentle slopes, this reduces fatigue significantly compared to pushing a 42kg machine manually.
Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. Operators must always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including non-skid safety boots, eye protection, ear defenders, and long trousers—and keep children, pets, and bystanders at a safe distance of at least 15 meters. Due to the fatal risk of poisonous carbon monoxide exhaust fumes, the 196cc petrol engine must only be operated outdoors in well-ventilated areas away from doors and windows. Handle E5 or E10 unleaded petrol with extreme caution outdoors, avoiding smoking, overfilling, or refueling while the engine is hot. Pre-operation checks must verify that high-quality SAE30 (or SAE 10W-30) 4-stroke engine oil is filled to the upper dipstick mark. Ensure all safety guards are intact, inspect for loose or damaged cutting blades, and refrain from mowing on slopes steeper than 15 degrees or in wet conditions. Always operate the mower standing firmly behind the handle, disengaging the Operator Presence Control (OPC) lever to stop the engine instantly in emergencies, and always disconnect the spark plug HT lead before performing maintenance, clearing blockages, or adjusting the cutting height.
