Step back in time to the golden age of rail with this Battery Operated Diesel Shunter, part of the beautifully crafted Bigjigs Rail Heritage Collection. Designed to carry out general shunting duties, the Class 8 Diesel Locomotive dates all the way back to 1952 and is an important part of British Rail history. Watch the realistic train toy chug along the track as an individual engine or have it transport your other carriages from station to station using the magnetic couplings. This battery operated train requires 1 x AAA battery (not included). Magnetic couplings ensure compatibility with all other engines and carriages in the Bigjigs Rail range. Most other major wooden railway brands are compatible with Bigjigs Rail. Conforms to current European safety standards.
